At GC, we believe effective learning provision is built on strong partnerships. Our work with the Restart Scheme across South Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire demonstrates how collaboration can create meaningful outcomes for participants looking to progress towards sustainable employment.

Working closely with the Restart operational team, we have developed learning opportunities that respond directly to participant needs. This tailored approach ensures learners can access relevant training that fits around their individual circumstances while developing the skills employers are looking for.

Through a combination of flexible CPD provision and accredited IT and Digital qualifications, participants have been able to improve their confidence, gain practical workplace skills and increase their employability.

Natalie Gill, Operations Manager for the Restart Scheme, said:

"The partnership with the Education & Skills team at The Growth Company has had a highly positive and measurable impact on our Restart participants across South Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire. The team works in close collaboration with us to design and deliver provision that is genuinely aligned to participant needs, ensuring a seamless, supportive, and participant-focused experience throughout the journey.

Through this strong working relationship, we have successfully developed tailored learning opportunities that enhance both engagement and outcomes. We have seen significant improvements in participants’ confidence, practical skills, and overall employability as a direct result of accessing this provision.

The breadth and flexibility of the CPD offer enables participants to upskill in a way that fits around their individual circumstances, while the accredited IT and Digital qualifications have proven particularly valuable. These programmes are equipping participants with essential, in-demand skills that are directly relevant to today’s job market, increasing their readiness for employment.

What stands out most is the team’s responsiveness, professionalism, and commitment to continuous improvement. They are proactive in adapting provision, listening to feedback, and working in partnership to ensure delivery remains impactful and outcomes-driven.

Overall, the support provided by the Education & Skills team continues to make a meaningful and lasting difference, supporting participants to build confidence, gain qualifications, and progress towards sustainable employment."
