The Senior Insurance Professional Level 6 Apprenticeship covers a wide range of topics, including:
- Insurance Principles and Practice: In-depth understanding of core principles, policies, and practices in the insurance sector.
- Risk Management: Assessing, managing, and mitigating risks in various insurance contexts.
- Regulatory and Compliance Frameworks: Knowledge of legal, regulatory, and ethical standards within the industry.
- Strategic Leadership: Developing skills to manage teams, make strategic decisions, and lead change within an insurance organization.
- Client Management: Building and maintaining strong client relationships, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored solutions.
- Technical Insurance Expertise: Advanced knowledge of specific insurance products and services, from underwriting to claims management.
Delivery
This is a work-based apprenticeship, apprentices will receive regular 1-to-1 support to help them achieve competence in line with the knowledge, skills, and behaviours outlined in the apprenticeship standard.
Entry requirements
Ideally, applicants will have a relevant Level 3 qualification and a minimum of five GCSE's grade 4/C or above including maths and English.
