On successful completion, apprentices will achieve a Teaching Assistant Level 3 Apprenticeship.
Apprenticeship details
The Teaching Assistant Level 3 Apprenticeship equips apprentices with the core skills, knowledge, and behaviours required for a successful career in childcare.
What it covers:
- Knowledge: Understanding child development stages and curriculum requirements.
- Skills: Supporting independent learning and manage behaviour effectively.
- Behaviours: Demonstrating professionalism, respect, and confidentiality.
Delivery
Our Skills Development Tutors will visit apprentices on-site or remotely, working with them to meet employer’s specific needs and expectations.
Entry requirements
Ideally, apprentices will hold a GCSE grade C/4 or above in maths and English or equivalent.
If they do not hold a Level 2 English and maths qualification they must achieve these prior to taking the End-Point-Assessment (EPA)
To work in this industry, an apprentice will need an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Progression
On successful completion, apprentices can progress onto higher-level apprenticeships, supervisory roles or covering classes within childcare.
