The broad purpose of this role is to provide leadership with operational and project responsibilities. Team leaders generally manage individuals, teams, or elements of a project, offering direction, instructions, and guidance to achieve set goals. They are vital for the smooth functioning of all departments within an organisation and are often responsible for ensuring that functions are correctly administered and maintained in line with legislation and the organisation’s procedures.

The Team Leader Level 3 Apprenticeship equips apprentices with the core skills, knowledge, and behaviours required for a career within a range of business types.
What it covers:
On this programme apprentices will develop the knowledge and skills in the following areas:
- Objective and Resource Management: Sets objectives, manages performance, and allocates resources within set budget.
- Training and Compliance: Ensures team development and compliance with policies and regulations.
- Project and Change Management: Contributes to projects, supports change, and promotes sustainability.
Delivery
Our Skills Development Tutors will visit apprentices on-site or remotely, working with them to meet employer’s specific needs and expectations.
Entry requirements
Ideally, applicants will hold a GCSE grade A*-C/9-4 in maths and English or equivalent. Apprentices without Level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to completion of their Apprenticeship
Progression
On successful completion, apprentices can progress onto higher-level apprenticeships or develop their career within Team Leadership.
