The Insurance Professional Level 4 Apprenticeship equips apprentices with the advanced skills, knowledge, and behaviours needed to thrive in the insurance industry. Building on their foundational knowledge, this apprenticeship prepares individuals to manage complex insurance products, provide expert advice, and deliver high-quality service to clients across various sectors, ensuring they can effectively navigate the challenges and opportunities within the insurance market.

Delivery

This is a work-based apprenticeship, apprentices will receive regular 1-to-1 support to help them achieve competence in line with the knowledge, skills, and behaviours outlined in the apprenticeship standard.

Entry requirements

Ideally, applicants will hold a relevant Level 3 qualification and have a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4/C or above, including maths and English.

Additionally, they must be employed in a relevant role.

Progression

Once apprentices have completed their apprenticeship, professional registration can be achieved by application to the relevant Professional Body with recognised status of Dip CII, (Chartered Insurance Institute), or Dip CILA (Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters). It is also a stepping stone on the route to full Advanced Diploma qualification.
