The Data Analyst Level 4 Apprenticeship equips employees with the technical and analytical skills needed to collect, interpret and present data that supports informed business decision-making. Apprentices develop expertise in areas such as data analysis, visualisation, problem solving and the use of industry standard tools, enabling organisations to gain valuable insights and improve performance across departments.
Working closely with stakeholders, data analyst identify trends, monitor business performance, and communicate findings in a clear and meaningful way. The role combines technical capability with strong communication and critical thinking skills, helping employees contribute strategically to business growth and operational efficiency.

Qualification
On successful completion, apprentices will achieve a Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship.
Apprenticeship details
This apprenticeship covers understanding the analyst role, the data lifecycle, data quality and management, data analysis tools and techniques, data architecture and security, data structure and integration, user experience and requirements and data governance.
Delivery
A blended approach with fortnightly group training, one-to-one sessions every 4 weeks, webinars, online courses, video content and additional support as needed.
Entry requirements
GCSE grade A*-C/9-4 in maths and English or equivalent is desirable.
Functional Skills is no longer a mandated requirement for apprentices aged 19 or above. However, some programmes may have minimum entry level requirements for English and maths due to the nature of the programme.
Apprentices must be employed in an analytical role.
Progression
Upon successful completion, apprentices can pursue roles such as Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or Data Scientist, with opportunities to advance into senior data roles.
