Course details

The Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Customer Service qualification comprises the following units:

  • Principles of customer service and delivery
  • Understanding customers
  • Understanding employer organisations
  • Communicating effectively with customers
  • Handling customer information
  • Resolving problems and delivering service to challenging customers
  • Developing customer relationships

Entry requirements 

There are no entry requirements for this course however, applicants will be required to complete an initial diagnostic in maths and English as part of the enrolment process.

As this course is delivered online, applicants will need access to a device with a camera and access word documents.

Eligibility for funding:

This course is fully funded to individuals who:

  • Are a Greater Manchester Resident
  • Aged 19+
  • Earns less than £25,000

Progression

Completing the Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Customer Service opens up a range of progression opportunities, including moving on to a Customer Service Specialist Apprenticeship or a Team Leader/Supervisor Apprenticeship to develop leadership skills.

This qualification paves the way for roles such as Customer Service Team Leader, Supervisor, or Account Manager, offering a strong foundation for career growth and continuous development.
